A county judge in Georgia has blocked the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, saying the law was unconstitutional when the state legislature approved it in 2019. The ruling will allow the immediate legal resumption in the state of abortions performed after the sixth week of pregnancy and up to 22 weeks of pregnancy.
