- According to a survey published Tuesday by the Business Group on Health, employers are increasingly skeptical of virtual health and concerned about medication costs. The industry group representing employers surveyed 152 members, with 19 million total insured workers, on their healthcare-related insights and possible investments for the coming year. In 2019, just over half (52 percent) of large employers believed virtual services would majorly impact care delivery. Thanks to the pandemic, that jumped to 80 percent in 2020 and 85 percent in 2021. According to the survey, the number declined to 74 percent in 2022 and to 65 percent this year. (Articles here and here)
