- The House Appropriations Committee released legislation Monday for the short-term continuing resolution to avert a government shutdown by February 18. The legislation extends the enhanced federal matching rate for Medicaid funding for certain territories through March 11. However, the bill does not address making flexibilities for telehealth permanent or providing hospitals relief from a 2 percent cut to Medicare payments set to take effect in April.
