  • A new study from Gallup and West Health indicates that 30 percent of Americans have skipped medical care for a health problem in the previous three months due to concerns about the cost. The percentage has tripled since March, reaching its highest point during the pandemic. High medical costs are even impacting higher-income Americans. One in 5 households earning more than $120,000 annually said they also have bypassed care – an almost seven-fold increase for higher-income families since March. (Articles here and here)
