- A federal lawsuit in Texas is seeking to eliminate the preventive care of the ACA. The plaintiffs argue that the requirement is unconstitutional because some preventive health measures violate the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. According to the Urban Institute, health plans now cover more than 100 preventive health services with no out-of-pocket cost to patients.
