- Just ahead of a trial, the state of Florida reached a settlement with three major companies over their roles in the opioid crisis. Under the agreement, CVS Health Corp. will pay $484 million, Allergan PLC will pay $134 million, and Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. will pay $195 million and provide $84 million worth of its opioid overdose reversal drug.
