  • The Biden administration is sending 1,000 military medical personnel to six states to help hospitals overwhelmed by COVID-19. According to the latest HHS data, 19 states have less than 15 percent remaining capacity in their ICUs and four states – Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana, and New Hampshire – have less than 10 percent remaining capacity. Nationally, COVID-19 hospitalizations have reached record highs with at least 151,261 Americans needing care as of yesterday. (Articles here, here, and here)
