- J.D. Power’s annual study of Medicare Advantage (MA) plans found that members are satisfied with the plans, but say mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment coverage is lacking. Ninety-one percent members said they have enough coverage for routine diagnostics and 89 percent said they had enough coverage for preventive care. Conversely, only 38 percent said the same about mental health coverage and 27 percent for SUD treatment. The study also found that telehealth use declined to 24 percent – an 11-point drop compared to last year. (Press release here)
