- Microsoft has introduced a cybersecurity initiative aimed at bolstering the defenses of rural hospitals, offering free and discounted technology services, training, and support. Collaborating with the White House, the American Hospital Association, and the National Rural Health Association, Microsoft plans to provide nonprofit pricing and up to a 75 percent discount on security products for smaller hospitals, along with no-cost advanced security suites for larger rural hospitals already using eligible solutions.
