- Anthony Fauci told ABC News that if regulators authorize COVID-19 vaccines for children between the ages of 5 and 11, shorts could be available within the first two weeks of November. A key FDA advisory committee plans to meet Tuesday to discuss shots for that age group. The CDC’s independent advisory committee will meet November 2-3.
