  • The Department of Health and Human Services warned health systems about the possibility of “zero-day attacks,” which occur when hackers weaponize an unknown flaw in a system and are often financially motivated. HHS said one vulnerability can put millions of users at risk, and an independent tracker shows such attacks have more than doubled in 2021. (Article here)
