- California, Washington, and Oregon are dropping mask requirements in health care settings. California health officials on Friday unveiled plans to relax guidance on masking in high-risk settings and to end vaccination requirements for health care workers. On April 3, Washington and Oregon will no longer require health care workers, patients, or visitors to wear a mask in facilities including hospitals, urgent care centers, and dental and doctors’ offices.
