  • McKinsey’s American Opportunity Survey found that America’s unemployment is being driven in large part by physical and mental health concerns. Sixteen percent of the 5,000 people surveyed were unemployed. Of those, 9 percent said they were looking for work; 15 percent of which cited mental health as the reason they weren’t working, and 30 percent cited physical health. The other seven percent of unemployed said they were not looking for work. Twenty percent said it was because of their mental health, and 45 percent said it was due to physical health. (Article here)
