Maureen Tresnak

Executive in Residence

Maureen is a fully credentialed consulting actuary with over 20 years of diverse health care experience. She has worked with health plans, hospitals, medical groups, ACOs, employers, risk-bearing entities, technology service providers, and others on value-based reimbursement strategy and financial modeling. She is experienced in modeling contracts with quality and risk adjustment components, from total cost of care risk sharing arrangements to partial and fully capitated arrangements.

Maureen was a principal consultant at The Terry Group from 2017 to 2022 and then worked with The Terry Group as an independent contractor starting in 2022. Prior to her consulting career, Maureen spent 17 years with Health Net, ten of those as Vice President, Actuarial Services where she led both the Medicare Advantage Actuarial and the Financial Valuation and Reporting departments.

Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics-applied science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

A few fun facts about Maureen…

Maureen’s favorite hobbies include traveling, knitting, sewing, reading, and improving her Spanish. She has traveled in 35 states and 35 countries and is always planning her next adventure. The three items she would bring with her to a deserted island include mask, fins, and a stand-up paddle board.
