Senior Director of Data Services and Analytics

Alex has done extensive analysis into social determinants of health as they relate to sustainable management of substance use and mental health systems of care. An expert at working with big data, his experience includes leveraging medical claims and health care pricing data to gain competitive advantage and increase access to care, as well as to inform sound design of alternative value-based payment models. He has helped design and develop analytic platforms for clients across a wide range of software solutions.

As a senior director, Alex oversees development of the firm’s data analytics capabilities. He is focused on integrating data science into service sets for existing and new clients.

Alex previously served as Chief Data Officer at sr4-DIS, a small information systems company helping organize and analyze data around treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. There he helped design and build the set of real-time automated reporting tools utilized by RecoveryLink™, a platform launched in 2020 serving recovery support organizations across the United States.

Alex has a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago, a law degree from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor’s in philosophy from Georgetown University. He is based in Chicago, Illinois.
