  • Centene Corp. and Humana Inc. are suing Merck & Co., accusing the drugmaker of deploying “pay-for-delay” tactics to prevent lower-cost generic drugs from entering the market and causing them to overpay for two cholesterol medications by hundreds of millions of dollars. Centene and Humana alleged that Merck violated antitrust laws in at least 27 states and Washington, D.C. (Article here)
