- Yesterday, President Biden released his budget proposal for fiscal 2024, which includes numerous items that would affect providers, health insurance companies, and patients. Some of the budget initiatives include:
- $11 billion to fund a program to eliminate hepatitis C in the United States. (Article here)

- Restoring the American Rescue Plan’s Child Tax Credit to its 2021 amount, allowing $3,000 per child and $3,600 for children under 6. (Article here)
- Making changes that would affect Medicare Advantage, including new medical loss ratio (MLR) requirements for supplemental benefits and required coverage of behavioral health visits without cost-sharing. (Article here)
