- Kaiser Permanente formally launched a new Center for Gun Violence Research and Education. The center, which was initially announced May 29, focuses on preventing gun violence through research, and education, and care innovation efforts. In tandem with the launch, the company announced $1.3 million in grants to nine nonprofit organizational partners. (Press release here)
