- President Biden announced plans to tighten up COVID-19 testing timelines for travel to and within the U.S. The new rules, effective Monday, will require travelers coming to the U.S. to test negative one day before departure instead of up to three days before entering the country. They also extended a requirement that people wear masks on airplanes, trains, buses, and other modes of transportation through March 18. The administration also plans to require private health insurers to cover the cost of at-home Covid-19 tests. (Articles here, here, here, here, and here)
